This discussion paper aims to inform careful reflection on the ethics of termination of pregnancy from a Christian point of view.
Discussions on termination of pregnancy are often heated and end up with polarised positions, each thinking they are right, and the other is wrong.
There are well-meaning people in all these factions who have strong reasons for their belief. In this polarising world with opposing beliefs, the way forward is to understand the current context of the times in which we live and the reasoning that leads us to our conclusions.
One may already have an established view on this issue. However, rather than stating any particular position, this discussion paper aims to outline different viewpoints, introducing the scaffolding behind the arguments, and equipping one to make an informed decision.
