Dr Judy Fitzmaurice is a GP who lives in Sydney with Mark. She wrote this poem, Radiotherapy after she had breast cancer in 2007, when she participated in a short course at her treating hospital – Healing Through Creative Writing. She experienced the benefit of reflecting about her illness journey through imagery and through the process of writing poetry.
